| Included | Not included |
|---|---|
| Lines without passwords | SIP passwords |
| Local contacts, photos, notes, and groups | Custom ringtone and hold-music files |
| Recents and callbacks | Apple Contacts |
| Blocks, dialing rules, and default line | Cloud data, because there is no cloud sync |
Restore a backup
Section titled “Restore a backup”After confirmation, Restore Backup … replaces the current local contacts, recents, callbacks, blocks, dialing rules, and line data. Export a backup first if you need to keep the current state.
A restore is unavailable during a call. Afterwards, enter SIP passwords again and select custom audio files again. TelefonX then registers the restored lines.
Review call quality
Section titled “Review call quality”During an active call, Active Calls · Audio Quality shows the codec, sample rate, received RTP packets, packet loss, jitter, round-trip time, and either SRTP Active or Unencrypted RTP. No incoming audio packets yet points to a network, firewall, NAT, or provider problem.
Diagnostics and repair
Section titled “Diagnostics and repair”- Export Anonymized Diagnostics … contains app/macOS version, architecture, engine and device counts, and technical call states. It excludes passwords, phone numbers, contact names, and call content.
- Check Keychain saves, reads, and removes a test value only. Existing SIP passwords are neither read nor changed.
- Rebuild SIP Connections registers the lines again.
- Under Connection Help, open the provider-specific technical line options.
