General Settings
Open TelefonX Settings … General. The defaults below apply to a fresh installation; an update preserves previous choices.
| Option | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Open TelefonX at Login | Off | Starts TelefonX after Mac login. macOS may require approval under System Settings General Login Items. |
| Start Calls from Lists Immediately | Off | Off places the number in the dialer first. During a call, the action starts a consultation instead. |
| Pause Media During Calls | Off | Pauses Apple Music or Spotify. macOS may request Automation permission on first use. |
| Call Waiting | On | Allows a second incoming call. When off, the second call is rejected as busy. |
| Sync with macOS Focus | Off | An active Focus makes TelefonX decline incoming calls. Manual Do Not Disturb control is disabled while syncing. |
| Look Up Public Business Names | Off | Pro: Uses Apple Maps for unknown numbers. Local contacts always take precedence. |
| Show Apple Contacts | Off | Displays contacts from the macOS Contacts app as a read-only source. |
| Hide Calls Rejected by Blocking under “All” | Off | Rejected calls remain available under Blocked. Calls made before a number was blocked remain visible. |
| Default Notification | At Due Time | Pro: No Notification, At Due Time, 5 Minutes Before, or 10 Minutes Before. Can be overridden per callback. |
