Use Recents, Favorites, and Contacts

Recents brings together incoming, outgoing, missed, declined, and blocked calls across all lines in chronological order. Each entry shows the contact or number, the line used, and the time, status, or call duration. Use the phone button to call the number again.

Use search to find entries by name or phone number. The filter narrows the list to all, missed, incoming, outgoing, or blocked calls.

An entry’s context menu provides actions related to that call. You can call or copy the number, create a new contact, add it to an existing contact, schedule a callback (Pro), block or unblock the number, or delete the entry. Multiple selected entries can be removed together. Swipe sideways to access delete and block or unblock directly.

Deleting affects only the entry in Recents; saved contacts remain. Recents is included in the JSON backup.

Favorites lists the TelefonX contacts you marked for quick access. You can search the list by name or phone number. Depending on the available contact details, each row also shows the company, number, or group.

The phone button calls the preferred number using the preferred line. If either is not configured, you can select an available number or line first. The info button opens the contact details.

From the context menu, you can edit a favorite, remove it from Favorites, block or unblock it, or delete it. Mark contacts as favorites when creating or editing them.

The Contacts view combines your TelefonX contacts and, when enabled, your Apple Contacts. Search finds people by name or phone number. Use the filter to switch between all contacts, TelefonX contacts, Apple Contacts, and your local groups.

Use Add Contact … to create a local contact. A TelefonX contact can contain a name, company, email address, group, notes, photo, and up to 20 phone numbers. Number types include Mobile, Home, Work, and Other.

The phone button starts a call; when a contact has multiple numbers, you can select the number first. The info button opens the contact for editing. The context menu also lets you mark it as a favorite, block or unblock it, or delete it. Multiple selection provides applicable bulk actions.

Swipe sideways on a TelefonX contact to access delete and block or unblock directly. Local contacts are included in the JSON backup.

Enable Show Apple Contacts under Settings › General and allow contact access in macOS. Apple Contacts remain read-only in TelefonX. You can call them or use Copy to TelefonX … to save independent, editable TelefonX contacts.

TelefonX matches names and photos from local and enabled Apple contacts to numbers in Recents and calls. Optional public business lookup is a Pro feature used only for unknown numbers; local contacts always take precedence.

Importing and exporting local contacts requires Pro. In the Contacts view, open the import menu and choose Import CSV … or Export CSV ….

Supported columns are Name, Company, Phone, Email, Notes, Group, and Phone Types. Separate multiple numbers and types with |. German headers such as Firma, Telefon, E-Mail, Notizen, Gruppe, and Telefontypen are also recognized. The easiest approach is to use an exported file as a template.

Import adds new contacts and does not modify existing contacts. A name and at least one valid number are required.
