Update TelefonX

TelefonX is updated through the Mac App Store. The app does not contain a separate update mechanism.

Automatic updates

When automatic app updates are enabled in macOS, the Mac downloads and installs new TelefonX versions through the App Store. macOS may postpone installation while TelefonX is in use.

Update manually

1. Open the App Store.
2. Select Updates.
3. Find TelefonX and click Update if a newer version is available.
4. Open TelefonX after the update and verify the line status.

Data after an update

A normal update retains local contacts, recents, callbacks, lines, and settings. SIP passwords remain in the macOS Keychain. Before larger changes, it is still a good idea to create a backup under TelefonX › Settings … › Data & Diagnostics › Export Backup ….

If a line is not connected after an update, first choose Phone › Reconnect Lines. If the problem remains, see Fix Connection and Audio Problems.
